UM Shore Medical Group welcomed a new practice, UM Shore Medical Group – Nephrology, as of March 1, 2020. Formerly known as the Kidney Health Center of Maryland, UM SMG – Nephrology is located in Easton at 5 Martin Court and includes five providers: physicians Anish Hinduja, MD, Christina Turner, MD and Andrew Weinstein, MD; and nurse practitioners Michelle Dennis, CRNP and Mary Kate Williams-Feldman, CRNP.
Serving approximately 2,600 patients, UM SMG – Nephrology offers consultative, diagnostic and treatment services, including comprehensive renal function evaluation, kidney stone management, hypertension management, fluid and electrolyte management, diet and medication management, dialytic therapies, kidney transplant evaluation and post-transplant care.
In addition to the Easton location, UM SMG – Nephrology providers see patients by appointment at UM Shore Medical Centers at Chestertown and Dorchester, and at UM Shore Medical Pavilion at Queenstown.

Renee Edsall, MSN, CCRN, FNP-C, has joined UM Shore Medical Group – Primary Care. She is the latest provider to join the Easton primary care team that also includes Carolyn Helmly, MD, Kevin Tate, MD, Shirley Seward, CRNP and Katelyn Chapman, CRNP.
UM Medical Group – Neurology and Sleep Medicine welcomed nurse practitioner Tatyana Valentin to the practice in December 2020. Valentin joins Walid Kamsheh, MD, medical director, Neurology and Sleep Medicine, and nurse practitioners Trish Lemay, Rahel Alemu and Fallon Bauer in the diagnosis, medical management and treatment of brain, spinal cord and nerve disorders, and sleep disorders.
Christina Seningen, MSN, CRNP, FNP-C, has joined UM Shore Medical Group – Primary Care in Chestertown, adding to the provider team that also includes Susan Ross, MD and Julia Belanger, MD.
UM Shore Medical Group – Women’s Health welcomed Susan Shue, MSN, CNM, CNL, a certified nurse midwife, in December 2020. With physicians Javier Cajina, MD, Palak Doshi, DO, Audrey Drummey, MD and Barbara Keirns, MD, nurse practitioners Jennifer Dyott and Dale Jafari, and certified nurse midwives Molly Bernish and Sunny Granger, she provides obstetric, gynecologic, surgical, and prevention and wellness care.
